These can automatically pick up the trending keywords on the search engines. You can choose the ones that have the higher ranking, and mix the, strategically with keywords connected with similar articles, competitor brands or synonyms that the person may be using to search for things.

Content with poor quality

Rethink what goes into the content that gets posted on your site. Does it have the right information? Does all the blogs provide valid content related to the title. Simply adding content to the page randomly won’t help. This also includes adding duplicated content as well – this is a huge no-no that can lead to your website falling in SERP ranks.

Forgetting hyperlinks and meta content

Apart from correct keywords, all content used should have a meta description and title tags – even image tags. All these increases visibility of your content as search bots can locate your content when someone looks for it. Search bots can’t read images, so it’s important to add alter tags that they can process. Hyperlink stats, information, numbers, names in your writing to valid sources that can help validate what you’re writing about and with search results too.

Not optimising your website

Today, people use their tablets and mobiles to search for content. Usually, websites were designed to load just on computers, laptops. Now they’re designed to eb responsive – where they display correctly on all kinds of devices in the horizontal and landscape orientation. Search engines can identify mobile friendly sites and if your site isn’t mobile optimised, then it won’t get located.

Not adding social media integration

Another way your site can be located is to hyperlink it to your social media platforms. So, people can find your site on Twitter, FB, Instagram – or wherever they are. All they have to do is subscribe and keep updated on every new post that’s published. They like a new post about your product, they share it and go to your site to buy it. Its actually faster this way and you get extra promotion through the retweets, comments etc. SEO techniques keep on evolving, so it’s important not to stick to just one. Instead you can try mixing up a number of these different things.
